The Wolf of Wall Street [2013]

Genre: Biography, Comedy, Crime

Rating: 8/10.

With Martin Scorsese, you never know what to expect, but one thing is for sure, the movie will surely have a hell a lot of swearing. Based on the real life of Jordan Belfort and some fictionalization, this movie is all about one man – Leonardo DiCaprio.. Give him the goddamn Oscar already. The movie could have been cut short by around 20 mins easily. It drags a little in the middle stages. But its hilarious, unexpected and witty. Quite a different Scorsese movie from the ones in the past.

Typical Sacha Baron Cohen comedy along the lines of Borat and Bruno. Definitely has its funny moments and some outrageous ones as well. Sacha Baron is one of the best comedians out there right now. Absurd and silly, but definitely good to watch.

Adventureland [2009]

Genre: Drama, Romance, Comedy

Rating: 7/10.

A little bit of laughter and a little bit of romance. The mixture works perfectly. All in all, Good fun. Kristen Stewart is bland as ever, but Jesse Eisenberg is good at what he does. The humor is related to the characters rather than laugh out loud moments like certain other teen comedies. One of those movie which you can always watch when you’re bored.

Clerks II [2006]

Genre: Comedy

Rating: 9/10.

The sequel was released 12 years after the first movie, and for me, this one is more brilliant and humorous than the first one. You just can’t help but love Randal’s character. Jay & Silent Bob rock it alongside. Great story about friendship as well. Highly recommended. First watch Clerks, then the sequel.
